Terms of Service
Effective date: 26 October 2026
These terms apply to this website (layshlab.com) and to the videos and posts Laysh Lab (“we”, “us”) publishes on YouTube, Instagram and TikTok. By using the site or watching our content, you agree to them.
1. Educational content only
Our videos and pages explain everyday chemistry for general education. They are not professional, medical, engineering, legal or safety advice, and they are not a substitute for product instructions, safety data sheets, local regulations or a qualified professional. We check our facts carefully and list our sources, but science is summarised in short videos, and we cannot guarantee that everything is complete, current or right for your situation.
In an emergency, such as a suspected gas leak, a fire or a chemical exposure, follow the instructions of your local emergency services, gas provider or poison centre.
2. Never attempt hazardous experiments
Do not try to recreate anything dangerous you see or hear about, on our channels or anywhere else. In particular, never cut open glow sticks, handle gas or chemicals outside their intended use, mix household chemicals, or heat or ignite substances to “test” a claim. When we show a simple at-home tip (for example, cleaning silver), follow the safety notes given, use common sense, and supervise children. You are responsible for what you choose to do.
3. Our intellectual property
The Laysh Lab name (including ليش لاب), logo, flask-and-question-mark mark, any recurring characters, our videos, scripts, narration, graphics, animations, captions and this website’s design and text belong to Laysh Lab or are used with permission. All rights are reserved.
- You may share links to our videos and pages, and use the platforms’ own share, embed, duet or remix features as those platforms allow.
- You may quote short parts with credit to “Laysh Lab” and a link, for commentary, education or review.
- You may not re-upload our videos, use our logo or characters, or present our content as your own without our written permission.
Third-party works we cite as sources belong to their owners. We link to them and do not claim them.
4. AI-voice and AI-tools disclosure
Narration in our videos is generated with an AI text-to-speech service (ElevenLabs), using a voice we have the right to use. It is not a recording of a person speaking each line. Some images and animations are made with AI image or video tools; molecules and diagrams are usually drawn with code. Scripts are written and fact-checked by a working lab chemist. We label AI-generated or altered content as each platform’s rules require.
5. Comments, questions and “Ask Laysh”
If you send us a question or comment (for example, an “Ask Laysh” question), you allow us to use it, with credit to your public username, as the idea for a video or in a correction. Please keep comments respectful; we may hide or remove comments that are abusive, spam or unsafe. Each platform’s community rules also apply.
6. Platforms and links
When you watch us on YouTube, Instagram or TikTok, you also use those services under their own terms, including the YouTube Terms of Service. Our sources and other links lead to websites we do not control, and we are not responsible for their content or availability.
7. Limitation of liability
Our content is provided “as is”, free of charge, for general education. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Laysh Lab is not liable for any loss, injury or damage, whether direct, indirect or consequential, arising from your use of, or reliance on, our videos, posts or website, or from any attempt to reproduce anything shown. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
8. Changes
We may update these terms. The current version is always on this page with its effective date. Continuing to use the site or our content after a change means you accept the updated terms.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Bahrain. Any dispute will be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts of the Kingdom of Bahrain.
